Members
E17 Designers is a community group of designers, makers and artists who live or work in the area. It is very popular, and there is a waiting list, so this means that designers must have a good quality selection of work to show. Membership fees and table fees are used for the promotion of the markets, the website and all associated costs. E17 Designers Membership fees: £20 per year (March to March). At the beginning of the membership year, names on the waiting list will be advised how to join. We are an unincorporated association (a community group, existing as a membership organization).
- Non members can do an event if tables become available, at a higher one-off rate, so they can try out before joining
- Events are filled on a priority basis and priority advance booking is given to members
Brief: to engender a well designed and crafted feel to all products they should be hand made, designed and produced by each maker-products so far range from original letterpress and art prints and cards to vintage fabric bags, dolls, hand screen printed tee shirts and illustrators magazines, or simple bead, button or silver jewellery... we endeavour to cluster together designers who in addition make small affordable pieces of work that even one pound can pay for....ideally everyone is different so that visitors get as wide a choice as possible of styles and prices. Members benefit from a webpage, priority booking, and 2012 opportunities included showcases at the Vestry House Museum and William Morris Gallery, Valentines Day display at the opening of Wood Street Market, a social media workshop, a special offer for professional product images taken by Nicola Tree, a pop up stall at the Farmers Market.
