Dates for remainder of 2017: booking opens Monday 3RD JULY

Posted by E17 Designers

The usual constraints (even though I start booking in February!) means:

No September event as it clashes with many other WF festivals (High Tide theatre, Leytonstone Car Free day, Cultivate etc etc) and I am sure it's not a great time for sales.

No Barbican event in October.

Autumn and two pre Christmas dates in November as last year, including an evening.

WFCHub: it has a panto on Sunday 3rd December (our usual date) so we have to do the 10th otherwise we would have no xmas market in the Village at all..

Mirth: we can only do one at Christmas. December 16th, same weekend as last year. I was very grateful for all the feedback from the last event there. I managed to negotiate that we will be able to spread out in the venue (a little...)  and we will be part of a Christmas event, including panto etc. the manager is very positive about that  :)

I will programme all the booking forms ONLINE -so you can book from Monday 3rd July. Please book by signing in and selecting spaces via the drop down menus. I will send instructions when I set up the links to include table sizes and prices (Do not email me to make a booking as emails can get lost or overlooked!)

October 8  WFCHUB (Orford Road) 2.30-5.30

November 5 WFCHUB (Orford Road) 2.30-5.30

November 24th (NB EVENING) William Morris Gallery 6.30-10

December 10  WFCHUB (Orford Road) 2.30-5.30

December 16 Mirth (Hoe Street)  12-4

Make merry at Mirth with the E17 Designers’ Summer Market  (86)

Find E17 Designers on Hoe Street during this year’s E17 Art Trail.

We’re at Mirth on Saturday 10 June, 12-4pm, for the E17 Designers’ Summer Market. While away the afternoon, freshly made cocktail or craft ale in hand, in the company of local artists and designer-makers, showingfashion, handmade bags, jewellery, prints and more.

Suzie Cakes will be selling Walthamstow Wild Card Brewery Beer Mustard and her secret recipe bakes from the ticket booth. Other regulars will include D4Discus, Gail’s Windy Day, Stacey Hall, Malcolm Morris. New designers will include Shoorah Shoorah, Lucy Welton Studio, Brass and Bold, Worlds in Between (see pics).

Our makers have been taking inspiration from this year’s Art Trail’s STEAM theme. Come and see what they’ve been constructing, composing and concocting with their special E17 creative energy – who knows what perfect gift you’ll discover?

The East End Trades Guild is partnering with East London skill sharing network Echo, opportunity below!

Posted by E17 Designers

Please find below an opportunity which is open to everyone to apply: I  have already joined the East End Trades Guild and will participate on behalf of E17 Designes when I can (bring the East End to E17 !) BUT in order not to miss out on further opportunities you may want to follow up about East End Trades Guild

for yourself (they are looking for E17 members), I have pasted the details for that at the bottom of this blog.

What could 4 weeks do to transform your creative business?

The East End Trades Guild is partnering with East London skill sharing network Echo (economyofhours.com) to bring you a 4-week intense programme of enterprise support to help you grow your business, your network and your skillset.

Based on the tried-and-tested Echo++ accelerator model, Creative++ will give you:

•   Action Learning sessions

•   Guest talks – learn from the highs & lows of other creative businesses

•   1-2-1 consultations with industry experts to move your marketing, PR, sales funnel and other strategic challenges forward

•   A chance to pitch to an industry panel – receive concrete feedback and bag some Echo prizes

•   A network of 3600+ businesses and professionals – tap into valuable skills and expertise, and create champions for your business

And there’s no money involved: the programme is paid for, and powered by, the skills and knowledge shared and connections and collaborations created among the Echo community.

If you’re a creative business operating in East London and ready to raise your business game, this course is for you.

Apply by 15th January at economyofhours.com/creative

Programme runs Saturdays 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th February 2017

If you want to know more about the East End Trades Guild for yourself, please get in touch with Krissie direct (deadline for this year is 20 January)

I want to be completely transparent and upfront with you and we do take a 10% commission charge from all sales but unlike other market sites out there we do not charge a set up fee or annual fee to be with us.

You will also receive sales immediately via Stripe and not on a scheduled payment cycle.

The commission we charge will go into marketing and driving traffic to our site as well as supporting the creative and craft community within the UK.

As I mentioned earlier, we are just starting up but our site already has 10 amazing shops all with products ready to sell for launch.

It is also worth noting any shop that sets up before our launch, in early December, on nuMONDAY.com will become Featured Sellers for life.

I would love your feedback and to work with you create a truly fantastic online community market on nuMONDAY.com,

Thank you for taking the time to read this email,

Michael

Night Feast: Gazebo is now available, please apply direct to Chris!

Posted by E17 Designers

Hello Designers,

I understand that arranging a gazebo to trade at Night Feast has been difficult for many of you, especially as it's not a regular thing you need for other trading opportunities. I have a solution - we have a large 6 x 3m gazebo that could be used to house at least six traders on separate tables. It can go in the middle of the space in between the food stalls, creating a separate designers area.

We would still need for you to arrange a table for yourselves and perhaps some lights to decorate it, then it will look fantastic. For those interested in trading at the Christmas market on December 9th, please contact me at nightfeast17@gmail.com

Regards

Chris
