Keiko Kato Designs

Keiko Kato Designs has two separate brands: As Keiko Kato, I make ladies knitwear and bags. I specialise in using Japanese fabrics, both traditional and contemporary. I also make bespoke pieces on order. Under my label Shu Shu, I make children's clothes; from traditional Japanese Jimbei (kid's kimonos) to modern fashions. I love to mix Japanese and western fabrics and ideas in my clothes - colour co-ordination is a very important part of my design ethos, and I hope this comes across to you when you look at my products. I love the way so many creative people live and work in the Walthamstow area, but I also trade at the Brick Lane Truman Brewery Upmarket every Sunday.
